Situated on a serene 15-acre wooded property just 20 minutes from downtown Durham, the community comprises 28 single-story, universally designed homes clustered around a central common house. This layout fosters both privacy and connection, allowing residents to enjoy their own space while engaging in shared activities and mutual support.

The common house serves as the heart of the community, featuring a gourmet kitchen, dining area, fitness room, and spaces for arts, crafts, and gatherings. Residents participate in communal meals, gardening, and decision-making processes, embodying the principles of sociocracy to ensure inclusive governance.
